The Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener is a complete knife and tool sharpener for outdoor use. It fits equally well in your backpack, toolbox, tackle box, glove compartment, travel bag, boat, quad, or anywhere else you store knives and cutting tools. It is the first angle-guided, 5-stage sharpening solution for athletes who need a compact, complete, and versatile sharpener on the go.
The Guided Field Sharpener features 5 sharpening and honing stages, each with built-in angle guides for a consistent grind across the entire blade:
- 2 diamond plates – 1 coarse (220 grit) for shaping and repairing and 1 fine (600 grit) for sharpening. The plates measure 4" x 1".
- 2 ceramic rods – one ceramic rod with 3 positions, with coarse and fine grit and a side for stripping fish hooks, as well as a sharpening rod with a smaller diameter and fine grit for serrated edges
- 1 leather strop – conditioned with a micro-abrasive to bring your blades to a razor-sharp edge
The sharpening guides are specifically designed for your hunting, pocket, and fillet knives, making it easier to sharpen flat, curved, and serrated blades, as well as camp tools like axes, hatchets, and machetes.

Strong rare-earth magnets secure the diamond grit plates in place and also provide a cover for the broadhead wrench and a small storage compartment.
