Adler

Adler Tools, known under the name ADLER Werkzeug or Josef Schmitt Werkzeug GmbH, is a long-standing German manufacturer of forestry and garden tools based in Waghäusel. The family business was founded in 1919 by Josef Schmitt as a small village smithy and has since developed over several generations into an internationally active producer. Today, Adler is one of the leading specialists for forged tools and, as one of the few manufacturers in Europe, combines metal processing and wood processing under one roof. The brand stands for durable, high-quality tools “Made in Germany”, with a large part of the production still concentrated at the German location and based on many years of experience as well as artisanal tradition.
